Last weekend I took a trip up to San Francisco. I snapped off nearly two thousand shots of landscapes, abandoned forts, Golden Gate Park, and just about anything that caught my eye. None of these shots were intended to be time lapse video footage, and no shots from the weekend were omitted. It's like the beat writers work of the '60s in the sense that there was only minimal editing to make a publishable work . . . Read more about Time Lapse SF
Full Lunar Eclipse: Red Moon
I got up at 4:00 this morning to watch the last full lunar eclipse until 2014. It was a beautiful sight, especially when, at around 6:00, the moon shown bright red on the horizon. I was staying with my parents in Half Moon Bay, CA and was able to take some pictures from the coastal cliffs. Here is a quick preview of one of my shots from this morning. I will post an update with some properly edited photos once I get back to my computer next week. Read more about Full Lunar Eclipse: Red Moon

"Life" Selected for Magazine Cover
A few years ago, my photo "Life" (below) was excepted in the Mathematics Association of America's Found Math gallery. As my education has centered around math, this was a special sort of honor for me, combining my love for art and math into one. Just recently, though, I got a phone call from the MAA asking to use my photo on the cover of their next issue of Math Horizons. Naturally I said, "Yes, please do!" I am totally stoked that my image will now find its way into the hands of many mathematicians and educators around the country! Read more about "Life" Selected for Magazine Cover
